One Ok Rock

One Ok Rock, stylized is a Japanese rock band established in 2005. The current lineup comprises vocalist Takahiro Moriuchi, guitarist Toru Yamashita, bassist Ryota Kohama, and drummer Tomoya Kanki. Past members include drummer Yu Koyanagi and guitarist Alexander "Alex" Reimon Onizawa. Their musical repertoire spans various genres, from alternative rock and emo to post-hardcore and pop punk.

Initially affiliated with Amuse since their debut in 2007, One Ok Rock departed from the agency on April 1, 2021, founding their management company, 10969 Inc. In the United States, they are under the label Fueled By Ramen.

The band gained international prominence with their 2012 single "The Beginning," featured on their sixth album Jinsei×Boku=, which propelled them to perform at concerts and music festivals beyond Asia. Subsequently, they began releasing albums in two versions (Japanese-English and full English), each with 2 to 3 exclusive tracks. Their seventh studio album, 35xxxv, marked their debut on the US Billboard charts, peaking at No. 11 on Heatseekers Albums, No. 43 on Independent Albums, No. 23 on Hard Rock Albums, and reaching the top spot on the World Albums Chart. Their eighth album, Ambitions, debuted at No. 106 on the US Billboard 200 and various international charts, showcasing a blend of arena rock and pop-rock. Transitioning to a more electronic and pop-oriented sound, their ninth album Eye of the Storm was released in 2019. In 2022, their latest album, Luxury Disease, showcased a return to a more rock-centric sound while incorporating elements of modern pop-rock.

One Ok Rock's accolades include winning the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards for Eastern Breakthrough Male Band in 2016 and the Rock Sound Awards for Best International Band in 2017, along with Best Live Performance in 2018. Additionally, they received nominations for two Alternative Press Music Awards – Best International Band in 2016 and Best Breakthrough Band in 2017.
