Artist Information
Uverworld
Uverworld, stylized as UVERworld, is a Japanese rock band hailing from Kusatsu, Shiga, comprising six members. Their discography boasts eleven studio albums and more than thirty singles, with global sales exceeding three million records.
The band's name "Uverworld" is an inventive fusion coined by its members, melding the German term "über" (translating to "over" in English) with the word "world," resulting in a phrase symbolizing "crossing above the world."
CNBLUE
CNBLUE is a South Korean pop rock band established in 2009. Its lineup comprises Jung Yong-hwa (leader, main vocals, guitar, keyboard, rap), Kang Min-hyuk (drums), and Lee Jung-shin (bass). The band's initial bassist, Kwon Kwang-jin, departed after their debut Japanese extended play Now or Never in 2009, paving the way for Lee Jung-shin to replace him. Lee Jong-hyun (guitar and vocals) exited the band on August 28, 2019.
The name "CN" is derived from Code Name, while "BLUE" is a backronym representing burning, lovely, untouchable, and emotional qualities, associated with Jong-hyun, Min-hyuk, Jung-shin, and Yong-hwa, respectively. CNBLUE made their debut in Korea on January 14, 2010, with the lead single "I'm a Loner" from their inaugural Korean EP, Bluetory.
