Hitsujibungaku
Originating from Tokyo, Japan, Hitsujibungaku has been creating music since 2017, showcasing the talents of Moeka Shiotsuka on vocals and guitar, Yurika Kasai on bass, and Hiroa Fukuda on drums. They gained widespread recognition in Japan with their double-single release "1999 / Ningen Datta" in 2019, leading to their major label debut in 2020 under Sony Music Labels with the single "Sabaku no Kimi e / Girls" from the album "F.C.L.S."
Their second full album, "our hope," dropped in April 2022, featuring the track "hikaru toki" as the theme song for the anime "The Heike Story." The band's popularity soared in 2023 with sold-out concerts, festival performances like at Fuji Rock, and the release of their album "12 hugs (like butterflies)." The album's song "more than words" was notably used as an ending theme for the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," elevating their global fame beyond Japan.
